Who says you can't teach an old . . . (well that's not the right phrase to use here)

I'm getting there.

I'd like to learn how to put in a new template if possible. I'm just learning HTML as I go. My test email works.

I took the day off, another day to recoup. I had a laparoscopic cholecystectomy 5 days ago. When you're told that anything is 'daysurgery' don't believe it. I don't know how anybody could simply go home after that. I felt like I was run over by a truck. I also learned that pain medicine DOES NOT DO ANYTHING TO GET RID OF PAIN, it merely makes you not care about the pain - it's still there - it still hurts - just with the good pain medicine - you really don't care about it. I also found out that oxycodone makes me itch.

I have the best husband. He stayed with me the whole time. He asks questions, fetchs things, never complains, never seems disappointed. He's done all the laundry, most of the cooking (when we do any), he lets the dogs in and out, scoops the poop, mows the lawn. He keeps busy, but stays quiet.

I'm bored, but I don't think I can handle a full day at work, and I don't really want to go back to work yet. It's nice to have the option to go or not to go. I'm lucky.

The weather's been beautiful, I went for a walk with the dogs. It was a little much - maybe a mile. I needed to get some kind of exercise. We put the training collar on Mac. He's a small Tosa Inu, about 70 lbs. Sounds cruel, but we have to get him under control - we can't have him charging anybody or any other dogs. A little zap was all it takes. Now all we have to do is give the warning beep and he's under control. Rosie, the chihuahua, is the one who really needs it.
