Hold my calls (actually I just hit the call forward button)

How do you deal with a coworker who is a complete idiot?

I keep telling myself that I must be nicer, I never know who I may end up working for one day. Dork is supposed to be our security program manager and is trying to get all this information out of me for the building that field offices and detached staff work in. Granted I do have responsibilities for the building, but not where security is concerned, I deal mostly with the landlord issues, and supplies. He's an idiot. He's supposed to be the program manager but he doesn't know what to do to make the building comply with all the requirements. I finally have resorted to spelling it out to him in CAPITAL LETTERS in email - each step what he needs to do. FIRST, YOU . . . SECOND, YOU . . . , and THIRD . . .

He might do the first two and then peters out on the whole thing - then calls and bugs the hell out of me asking stupid questions. I swear he cannot follow a process from beginning to end and he's dumb. He cannot write a full sentence. He doesn't know how to punctuate or spell. He doesn't capitalize the first letter in a sentence. He made a bulleted list and left one bullet hanging empty at the end of the list.

I finally stopped taking his calls today. I had other things to do. I also nicked the middle finger on my right hand and was getting blood all over my keyboard and didn't realize it. I guess I should be one to be calling other people dumb - how could I not realize that I was bleeding all over the place.

I can't wait to take off on this upcoming trip. I've been debating on how much I want to gamble when I'm in Las Vegas, should I go $100, $200, $500 or $1000?

I talk to this guy Pete from work every once in a while - he's detached staff at another field office. He asked that whoever goes to Las Vegas to please look for his ass. He lost his ass there. He lost $10,000. I'm going to go look for it, but I don't think that I'm going to tell him if I find it.

Today is sewing class. I have all the towels ready to crochet, and I plan on doing that when watching TV. I think I'm going to work on the quilt that I started earlier this year. I should go get the stuff together and get there early.

I get to watch Rugrat tomorrow. My sister had Rugrat late in life. They didn't think that they could have kids, and surprise - here she is in her late 40's (he's 50+) with a 4 yo. Rugrat is completely different from how my kid was. My kid you hardly even knew she was there - she was quiet all the time, and she never got sick. Rugrat is impossible to not know his presence and he's sick a lot.

I don't know what I'll do watching him tomorrow afternoon but I guess I'll figure it out.
