I'm not ready for 4 hours of Lord of the Rings and I haven't even bothered to sit down and watch the Two Towers yet.

I keep thinking that I read all these books back when I was 12. Now I'm wondering if I really did.

I'm planning out the trip to Mazatlan and the place where we're staying is not sounding so wonderful now after reading reviews. It's north of the hotel and shopping areas. It sounds like it has a nice pool though and a swim up bar. I'm printing out everything I can on the subject.

I decided to go to work today after being off for almost 2 weeks because it's a Friday, and it's a Friday after a holiday - so I bet nobody will be there and it'll be very quiet. I need to get a bunch of crap done too that will require some kind of concentration on my part.

I don't want to be late anymore so I'm probably going to have to concentrate on not doing this internet business in the morning until after I'm all ready to go. It never fails - I sit down here and then next thing I know it's after 6 and I'm running around trying to get ready and I run out the door half done.

I hooked up a new printer/scanner yesterday. It's a lot faster than the older one I had. I haven't tried the scanning part yet. My old scanner wasn't really compatible with Windows XP for some reason. I was able to make it work - but sometimes it wouldn't cooperate.
