Lots of stuff has been going on but then nothing at all too interesting.

I've been obligated 2 years to as a council member to a non-profit organization. My sisters guilt-tripped me into it. It's smoothing out, but the first few meetings were a real pain.

Book Club has been going great. I was hostess in July and it turned out pretty good except that I had too much wine - then I had a council meeting the next day and was sick as a dog.

My nephew the rugrat started kindegarten this week. My kid started college 2 weeks ago. She's doing okay so far. I hope she doesn't get too far behind.

We've been harboring a carpetbagger. MPH's brother is stopping here on his commute from WY to the slope and back. I had a real issue with this back in July. First I'm pissed because the company he's working for should be hiring shareholders, and second because he's taking the money out of state. Then I had to listen to MPH keep trying to get his other brother a job with the same company. MPH almost lost the "P" in MPH.

We gained a new family member, a cat. 'Bella' was rescued at the park my sister manages. Actually I'm still not sure if it's a Bella or a Billy. She was kind of thin when we first got her. I call her Bellaweena. She loved Mac at first site and hated Rosie at first site. Rosie's going blind and deaf I think. I think Bella's working out fine so far.

Work has been driving me nuts for a while. I don't know if it's the job or just my attitude.

Our friend Judy was married labor day weekend. It was a good wedding. I really like her family. A little quirky but comfortable.

My old boss Fred was married this last Sunday. It was a little awkward, kind of like Fred. I can tell they'll do fine. I think Fred was getting a little perturbed by the wedding planning that was going on before the wedding. I met Victor ?? wife Carolyn at the wedding. I used to work with him. I like his wife - she's from somewhere up by Copper River and was in Lazy Mountain Children's Home from 47-55 or sometime around there. She said she remembered my mother - but I'm not sure if she really did or not.

Alice's car broke down in the drive. It had to be karma.

I have a cool little digital video camcorder - that MPH gave me for our anniversary. I really like it.

I gave him an ipod for his birthday/fathers day/anniversary. He gave me an mini ipod for my birthday.
